The big kids are home from school today. That means I’ve got all 3 tiny monsters home all day while my husband is at work. Lucky him.
It’s already been a morning, but we made it to nap time. That gives me 2-3 hours of one less tiny monster if I’m lucky.
Phew.
It’s just after 10am, and I am now taking a moment to have some quiet time. The big kids are having a snack and watching tv….
And I am having coffee and an ice cream bar. Yup. Coffee and 10am ice cream. No shame either. Life is too short for shame.
We all need a little something special or rebellious sometimes.
Especially on days like today when I am vastly outnumbered and the noise level is one that would make any sane adult overstimulated within seconds.
