If I were to offer you one piece of advice this winter season…it would be that. To absolutely, do not get the flu. My mom tested positive Wednesday morning. I felt like crap when I woke up on Thursday. Had my husband swab me and test me (he works in a lab), and tested positive.

Yesterday morning, in true my life fashion, was full of chaos and business. It started off with my oldest son having his therapy session at 8am. Then me driving home, dropping him off, putting the baby to bed for his nap, and going straight back out to where I just was for my therapy session.

This was…..not the best start to a new year that there’s ever been. In fact, I’d safely say it was actually the worst. It was very likely the worst New Year’s Eve midnight that I’ve ever experienced. It was a great day and a great night. Up until 11:30pm. And my sister. My fucking sister.
