Have you ever noticed that a large majority of parenting is really just glueing or taping things back together?
Today alone, I’ve glued a wooden snowman back together (his hat came off), a wooden rocket ship, the handle on my sons FAVORITE Spiderman water bottle that he absolutely can’t have broken, and taped a paper flag back together for my older son.
My 6 year old is home from school today and Monday for parent teacher conferences/ “fall break”, and I’ve been stressed about how it would go with everyone being home. But so far….its been okay.
This morning we did coloring, arts and crafts, and very little arguing. Right now, the baby is napping, and the big kids are being mostly quiet.
Tonight, if I’m feeling bold enough, maybe I’ll let them plan and cook their own dinner.
It’s finally Friday, the week is nearly over, and better days are ahead.
At least, that’s what I’m going to tell myself.
We got this.

Great attitude! 👍 Enjoy your Friday and the rest of the weekend
You too! Hopefully we can put together a sting of good days 😞🤞
